Asuka Japanese Cuisine

According to Japanese lore, Asuka is a firebird that rises out of flames. Thus the all-new Asuka Japanese Cuisine derives its name and style. Now open in West Bay Plaza (northwest corner of Crocker Road and Detroit Road in Westlake), Asuka brings hibachi-dining and sushi to the west side. The restaurant features 12 hibachi stations with expert hibachi chefs. Select seafood, vegetable, chicken or filet mignon. Hibachi dinners include soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, vegetable and fried rice. Asuka also features a fusion-style sushi bar prepared in the pure Japanese style. Sushi can be ordered a la carte, or as an entrée with soup or salad. Be sure to try a sushi hand roll that combines seafood, vegetables and rice Asuka is open for lunch as well, offering smaller portions of items featured on the dinner menu. Tiramisu and Japanese red been and green tea ice cream are just a few of the featured desserts. Asuka Japanese Cuisine is open for lunch 11am-2:30pm Monday through Friday Dinner hours are 4:30-10pm Monday-Thursday, 4:30-11pm on Friday Asuka is open Saturdays from Noon until 11pm and Sundays Noon until 9pm
